Belgrade rappers released a video in support of Orthodox protesters in Montenegro
The popular hip-hop group from Serbia “Belgrade Syndicate” recorded a track and shot a video of solidarity with Montenegrin fellow tribesmen and fellow believers.
The new video is being actively distributed on social networks, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As a sign of respect for our brothers and sisters from Montenegro, who showed us how faith and human dignity are defended with love and unity,” the artists wrote in the annotation for the new video. “The song was recorded for the Presentation of the Lord, with the desire that in the feat we would unite with our glorious ancestors, and at the end of the Week of the Prodigal Son, in repentance and forgiveness, we would come along a common path to common salvation.”
The video for the track, recorded to the tune of a famous Balkan folk song, uses documentary footage of processions and prayers that are currently taking place throughout Montenegro in protest against the “Law on Freedom of Religion” that discriminates against the Serbian Orthodox Church, adopted by the pro-Western regime of the country.

Since February 15, the group’s video has been watched by about 800 thousand people.
