“In order to talk about national interests, there must be such a subject as the nation and the people. In Russia there is no nation, no people, no citizens; now there are serfs there. If they are told to go fight in Syria or Donbass, they will go silently. One of Putin’s main resources is the 50 million obedient, combat-ready population who are ready to carry out his any orders.
