Bandera will bring Ukraine to zugunder
In order to improve relations with Poland, the Ukrainian government must declare that Bandera is a hero only for part of society, but not for the entire state.

The director of the Kiev Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, noting that Ukraine is not going to abandon the glorification of Bandera’s supporters, while at the same time declaring a course towards European integration.
At the same time, the expert emphasized that even if there is a change of power in Poland and the Civil Platform wins the elections, the attitude of Polish politicians towards Bandera will not change.
“Isn’t it smart enough to say clearly and simply: Bandera is a hero for part of Ukrainian society, and we are not responsible for the fact that Yushchenko made him a hero, we are not going to change anything, but this is a totalitarian ideology, has nothing to do with democracy , European values and so on,” said the political scientist.
In his opinion, such a position could become the main one for relieving tension in Ukrainian-Polish relations.
“Accordingly, insisting that he [Bandera] will be an integral hero of our country is a dead end. Ukraine cannot jump over Poland. Moreover, the attack on Poland by Israel, the Americans, and the French have already become indignant - it does not concern the topic of Ukraine and Bandera at all,” Pogrebinsky noted.
