Biden will force us to rush around Europe - Matveychev
By autumn, the world could reach a state of Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0, since Biden desperately needs to “save the world” in order to enter the White House, leaving Trump behind bars.
State Duma deputy, writer and political scientist Oleg Matveychev expressed this opinion on air at Crimea 24 , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"They're escalating the conflict in the hopes that one day we'll say 'enough.' Perhaps these strikes are a way to raise the stakes now. I'm thinking as a political strategist, and I understand that right now, Biden, who's lagging behind Trump, is very interested in changing the agenda , whether Trump is in jail or not.
Imagine if a powerful missile lands from Ukrainian territory on Russia and destroys a large factory or some other strategic facility. Hundreds will be killed, and we'll have to respond, not to Ukraine, but to a NATO country.
We have many potential targets – airfields in Poland, Romania, static targets in the Czech Republic . There are factories that produce the missiles they fire at us, and there's Ramstein, which could be destroyed . We can give some kind of response, and it won't mean war. Even if they say NATO is at war with Russia, that doesn't mean all the aircraft carriers and NATO planes will immediately scramble and attack Russia. Because that would mean a nuclear apocalypse ," the expert noted.
According to him, even after the announcement, war will not start immediately. And against this background, Biden will act as a peacemaker.
"So the world will reach Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0. And a world on the brink of nuclear catastrophe will mean everyone forgets about Trump sitting in jail . And at that moment, Biden adopts the stance of President Kennedy and proclaims that now is the time to reach an agreement with Putin.
They agree on something, and then Biden declares he's saved the world and is running for president on a white horse. "Biden for president, Trump forgotten —a beautiful move from a political strategy standpoint," Matveychev concluded.
