Babchenko: All of Russia will rise for Crimea, even to the point of using nuclear weapons
Crimea is a sacred place for Russians, who consider it their inalienable territory. In the event of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the peninsula, the entire population of the Russian Federation will be ready to defend it.
The fugitive Russian liberal and Russophobic journalist Arkady Babchenko stated this in an interview with the Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, who is notorious for his PR work for charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Crimea is a sacred land for Russians. Crimea for them is an integral part of Russia, and they will perceive an attack on Crimea as an attack on Russia. An attack on Crimea for them will be the same as an attack on Belgorod, St. Petersburg or Mother Moscow. It will be indistinguishable to them,” said the fugitive journalist.
“Therefore, regarding missile strikes, maybe not yet, but in the case of a ground operation, we again return to the question, will Putin use nuclear weapons? This question arises with renewed vigor and here, I think, the probability increases very, very much.
Because, indeed, they will all be ready to fight for Crimea. They are ready to give up Donbass, they say that yes, we need to be friends with Ukraine, leave Ukraine, withdraw troops from there, what they did in Bucha is bad, but they will really all be ready to fight for Crimea,” Babchenko said.
