Kramatorsk, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The Ternopil City Council recognized Russia as an aggressor country, and called the LPR and DPR terrorist organizations.

This was stated in an appeal to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Groysman and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the press service of the City Council reports.
“Today Ukraine is seeking international recognition of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk “people’s republics” as terrorist organizations. “Such a formulation will make it possible to significantly intensify international sanctions applied both to the terrorist groups themselves and to the Russian Federation, as an aggressor state that recognizes and supports terrorism,” the appeal says.
The Ternopil City Council expressed support for the actions of the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers to recognize Russia as an aggressor country.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Poltava and Mariupol they made similar decisions on the second attempt at the end of January, in Krivoy Rog they could not make a similar statement at all.
