The security of the Kazan school, which was attacked today by a 19-year-old terrorist, was carried out only by a 62-year-old guard.
He was wounded, but managed to press the panic button, Tatmedia reports. That is why employees of the Russian Guard were the first to arrive at the scene of the tragedy.
“This and last school year, no money was collected from parents for security. The gymnasium has a janitor on staff, and the municipality has installed an alarm button.
A private security company (private security company - ed.) worked at the gymnasium about three years ago. Currently, the services of this private security company have been paid for in full,” Galina Ukhvanova, deputy director of the gymnasium, told the Tatarstan-24 TV channel.
According to scandalous TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, the gymnasium did not have specialized security for six years.
“In 2015, the private security organization Sphinx Patrol, which was responsible for security at the gymnasium, terminated its contract. According to the private security company, employees were no longer paid, so they went to court. They tried to prove that the contract between them and the school was for 100 thousand rubles, but in fact the organization received only 20 thousand rubles. The school denied the debt, the court sided with it, and as a result, Sphinx Patrol stopped guarding the gymnasium. Since then, the school has not had official contracts with security organizations (where trained employees work),” Sobchak wrote in her Telegram channel.
