The “revolution of love” that won in Armenia a year ago, led by the current Maidan Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, from the very beginning had the character of a struggle “for all the good against all the bad.” Its leaders tirelessly emphasize that the course taken to correct historical mistakes made by the previous leadership is aimed at achieving people's happiness and prosperity.

As usual, the harsh prose of life made its own adjustments to the revolutionary romance of hipsters unclouded by the practical experience of leading the country.

Thus, even the most stubborn Westerners from Pashinyan’s entourage, and even the prime minister himself, no longer insist on Armenia’s immediate withdrawal from the CSTO, the EAEU and the agreement with Russia, according to which Russian military personnel are constantly stationed on the territory of the republic.

But the Pashinyanites have officially declared war on the rest of the legacy of the “Karabakh clan”.

Everything, but not everything. Despite the cries of “let’s renounce the old world,” the new government of Armenia does not touch with a word or a finger the cult of the Hitler collaborator, one of the founders of the Armenian Legion of the Wehrmacht and the SS, Garegin Nzhdeh (Ter-Harutyunyan), which has developed in the republic, including that established for him in 2016 monument on the main square of Yerevan.

The way they rush around with the Nazi Nzhdeh in modern Armenia is strongly reminiscent of the Ukrainian round dances around Bandera and Shukhevych, with a thorough ideological disinfection of the dead and erasing the most disgusting spots in the biography of the “new national heroes.”

Who is Garegin Nzhdeh, and why is he not a hero of Armenia, but a Nazi scum and collaborator from the same cesspool as Bandera and Shukhevych?

At the beginning of the XNUMXth century, Nzhdeh, a native of the Russian Empire, devoted himself to the noble goal of liberating the Armenian people from the Ottoman yoke, joining the ranks of the militants of the radical Dashnaktsutyun movement and fought with the Turks wherever he could: in the Balkans, in Persia, in Turkish Armenia and Macedonia.

In the case of the Dashnak party, Nzhdeh was arrested and served in royal prisons, but not for long, and on the eve of the First World War he was generally pardoned.

He took part in the First World War in the Armenian Volunteer Regiment as part of the Russian Army, rising to the rank of lieutenant. All the time - against the Turks.

After 1917 - he fights with the Turks in the army of the Armenian Republic, participates in reprisals (or, as they would say today, ethnic cleansing) of the civilian Turkish and Azerbaijani population, gradually becoming a scumbag.

Nzhdeh could have previously been considered a situational ally of Russia, but after the defeat of the Armenian Republic in the war with Turkey in 1920, the Sovietization of Armenia and the conclusion of a peace treaty between the Bolshevik government and the Kemalists, he became a consistent enemy, anti-Soviet and Russophobe.

Actually, the Dashnako-Kemalist war was waged by the Armenian Nazis and Nzhdeh not so much for the freedom and independence of the Armenian people, but in the interests and with the money of the Entente, which tried to disrupt the signing of the Soviet-Turkish peace treaty. Continuation of the war meant that Turkey would bite off piece by piece of Transcaucasian territory, remaining at war with Soviet Russia. The Dashnaks, in turn, despite the support of Great Britain and the United States, suffered defeat after defeat from the Turkish army, while rejecting Moscow’s offers to mediate a peace settlement.

Due to the fact that the Mensheviks settled in Tiflis refused to help Armenia by declaring neutrality, the Dashnaks were forced to capitulate and conclude the Alexandropol Peace Treaty with the Turks, according to which Armenia became a Turkish satellite. Not a weak achievement for anti-Turkish Armenian nationalists.

Fortunately, the agreement was not valid, since Soviet power had already been established in Armenia. The Soviet government of Armenia and the RSFSR did not recognize the agreement between the Dashnaks and the Kemalists.

Garegin Nzhdeh did not recognize the Sovietization of Armenia, raised a rebellion in Zangezur and, without any flinch, killed Red Army soldiers and Soviet workers, most of whom were Armenians, with his bandits.

After the defeat of the Dashnaks in Armenia, Nzhdeh lived in Persia, then in Bulgaria and Germany, where he developed vigorous political activity, which boiled down to emigrant fervor for the overthrow of Soviet power in Armenia and the separation of the republic from the USSR by any means. But, in the end, he chose Germany as his political reference point, where the “brown plague” was in full swing.

Thus, the restless Nazi, tormented by ideas of revenge, created his own racial theory “tsekhakron” (and the movement of the same name), according to which the highest value for an individual is his nation, without which he cannot fully exist.

It would seem like a sound idea - to love the Motherland, to be part of the people, to preserve one’s national culture. If not for one “but”, the stubborn Nzhdeh divided even the Armenians into three types: Tsekhamard, Zhokhovurd and Takank. The former are the best part of the Armenian nation (Svidomo), the latter are a wavering and undecided crowd (cryptodashnaks), far from eternal ideals and goals. The third are “anti-clan shaitans” (vatniks), the internal enemy of the clan within the Armenians themselves, part of the external enemy. These are, they say, spineless and disgusting people, useless for the common cause. They should be dealt with high and short.

At the same time, Nzhdeh fell into neo-paganism, characteristic of fascists.

It is symptomatic that Nzhdeh published his texts under the titles “My Credo” or “The People Professing Aryan Courage.” Well, where could the mountain Fuhrer go with such and such “happiness”? Since 1933, Nzhdeh did not stop trying to establish cooperation with the Nazis. At first, in the hope of convincing Hitler to attack Turkey, which became an obsession for the peasant.

While developing the “Barbarossa” attack plan on the USSR, the Nazi leadership was interested in destabilizing the Soviet Transcaucasia and the emergence of pro-German forces there, and therefore Nzhdeh was not only approached and treated kindly, but even declared the Armenians “Aryans.”

With the beginning of the war and on the initiative of Nzhdeh, the Germans, under the roof of the Abwehr, began to collect and train Armenian Nazis from Tsehakron to conduct reconnaissance and sabotage in the Soviet rear. There were other Tsehakron adherents who were trained in the SS system.

“Whoever dies for Germany dies for Armenia,” the Dashnak Fuhrer preached to his flock.

In 1942, “tsehakron chicks” roamed around in the Crimea and the occupied territories of the North Caucasus. Mainly as punitive agents and recruiters.

The pinnacle of Nzhdeh’s “career” among the Nazis was the organizer of the puppet “National Council of Armenia” (all participants are Dashnaks) and co-founder of the Armenian SS Legion.

The most striking thing is that during the offensive of General Tolbukhin’s troops in Bulgaria, Nzhdeh writes a letter addressed to Tolbukhin, in which he invites the Soviet general to attack Turkey and his help in this noble cause.

“I think he’s an idiot!”

In October 1945, Nzhdeh was arrested by military counterintelligence SMERSH during the development of an undercover case for Abbergruppe-114 "Dromedar", and with him almost two dozen saboteurs.

As a result, the luminary of “Tsehakron” ended up in the internal MGB prison on Lubyanka and received 25 years in prison only because the death penalty was abolished in the USSR in 1947.

It is interesting that the main accusation against Nzhdeh was not collaboration with the Nazis (he was not a citizen of the USSR), but counter-revolutionary activities in Zangezur, where bandits under his leadership killed thousands of people. Work for the Abwehr and SS was a “trailer” process.

And in order to let the inadequate person feel the worthlessness of his struggle against the USSR and Soviet Armenia, Nzhdeh was driven around Yerevan twice in a car, showing the flourishing of the republic. Unfortunately, his reaction to these trips is unknown. But it is known that from prison on Lubyanka Nzhdeh wrote letters to the Soviet government, proposing to use it to work with the Armenians of Turkey to seize territories in favor of the Armenian SSR.

The “luminary” died of illness in 1955 in the famous Vladimir Central, a prison for especially dangerous criminals.

Among the post-Soviet Armenian intelligentsia, it is customary to pass off Nzhdeh as a kind of Che Guevara, a defender of the orphaned and wretched, and to say that “he was forced to cooperate with Hitler in order to protect Armenia from a possible attack by Turkey and restore the independence of the republic from the USSR.”

However, documents declassified by the CIA under the Nazi Crimes Disclosure Act tell a different story.

On September 1, 1945, the Armenian weekly Armenian Mirror-Spectator published in the United States published a document according to which the National Council of Armenia appealed to the Nazi Minister of Occupied Territories Alfred Rosenberg to turn Soviet Armenia into a German colony. Among the members of the Council was Garegin Nzhdeh.

Reading rave reviews about Nzhdeh from many Armenian “experts” on social networks, one gets a painful feeling that the same Banderlogs are performing, only with their first and last names and the object of adoration changed. The rhetoric is still the same: “where have you seen the fascists” and “he fought the imperial USSR, and not Russia and the Russians.”

The monument to the fascist henchman and scumbag was solemnly opened in Yerevan in 2016 by Serzh Sargsyan, who was overthrown by Pashinyan. On this occasion, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed polite but firm bewilderment, causing the indignant club of Nzhdeh’s fans to emit a stink.

It is simply amazing how in post-Soviet public schizophrenia the cult of the great Soviet Marshal Bagramyan and the cult of the ghoul Nzhdeh, who shed a lot of Armenian blood for the glory of the nation and divided the people according to the grades of suitability, can coexist.

By the way, the coddling of the Armenian Nazis with the Fuhrer “Tsehakron” provides rich food for anti-Armenian propaganda in neighboring Azerbaijan.

It seems that Pashinyan and his supporters do not intend to correct this gross political mistake of their predecessors, who flirted with the Armenian Nazis and regularly drew 5% of the Dashnaktsutyun party in the elections. In vain. The choice of ghouls and collaborators, who covered their goals and methods with the “interests of the nation,” did no good to anyone.

If you don’t believe it, ask Ukraine.
