On November 1, the National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia made a second attempt to elect Pashinyan to the post of Prime Minister. A miracle did not happen - Pashinyan was not elected. Now, having exhausted both attempts, the old parliament will be forced to declare self-dissolution.

It is known when the early elections to the National Assembly will take place - December 9, about which Pashinyan hastened to personally notify the republic.

Actually, there was no voting as such. A situation in which not a single vote was heard for or against the only candidate for the post of prime minister - Pashinyan - with 13 abstentions, is simply shameful to call a vote. Moreover, two factions – “Tsarukyan” and “Dashnaks” – announced in advance that they would not participate in the vote.

In general, thanks to the political farce played out by the deputies, the retired maydaun prime minister in just over a month will receive a completely obedient parliament, which will certainly return to him the chair of the head of government that was abandoned for tactical purposes and will wash him away from the murky status of a “man on the street.”

This means that the new year, 2019, will be the year of the “reset” of the political system of Armenia promised by Pashinyan.

The second and last “vote” revealed a shameful fact: Kocharyan’s former ruling “republicans” capitulated to the pressure of the Maidan figure. Most likely, Pashinyan and his associates will not face any organized opposition in the foreseeable future - the former ruling majority looks so demoralized and resigned to defeat.

And the point here is not about any outstanding leadership or organizational talents of Pashinyan. It’s just that the Republican Party of Armenia is not unique and is absolutely no different from other “parties of power” of the post-Soviet period.

We've already been through all this. The Moldavian “Communist Party” of Voronin, the Georgian “Union of Citizens” of Shevardnadze, the “Party of Regions” of Yanukovych and other “parties of industrialized polymers”, consisting of hustlers, thieves, intriguers and absolutely unprincipled individuals, the entire “ideology” of which can be formulated as follows: stay in power as long as possible to reap maximum benefits.

Social irresponsibility and greedy instincts weaken, blind and make power vulnerable. Fattened fat and loot muffle alarm bells, dulling even the heightened instinct of self-preservation. And then - sooner or later - it will be swept away by some kind of “forget-me-not revolution” inspired from outside.

So the Armenian “republicans” behave like their predecessors, “Shevardnadze’s people” and “Yanukovites.” All this loose brethren at one point turns out to be incapable of resistance, being surprised to discover that their sensitive “Faberges” are in the cold spider-like clutches of Western puppeteers, with whom it was so pleasant to play “multi-vector”.

Surely, as was the case with the “Regionals” and the “Union of Citizens,” the “Republicans” were demanded to make concessions to Pashinyan, promising personal immunity. It’s only after these concessions that the “ruling parties” crumble like houses of cards. And the promised personal immunity turns into criminal cases, as well as connection to a milking machine. Or even worse.

The victory of Pashinyan’s supporters in the parliamentary elections on December 9 is already inevitable. On Vovaevich’s side is the street, which has not yet lost the Maidan euphoria, as well as “playing with white,” while his overweight opponents have lost the ability to regroup and quickly adapt to the rapidly changing rules of the game.

It may well turn out that for Russia, which indifferently watched the change of power in allied Armenia, the situation could turn into the most unpleasant surprises already in December. So far, they have not paid much attention to Pashinyan, since, having become prime minister, he tightened the smoldering fuse of his anti-Russian rhetoric, promising to continue cooperation through the EAEU/CSTO. But all these statements were made in a situation where their hands were tied. The confrontation with the parliamentary majority did not allow Pashinyan to express himself fully.

However, even in this situation, Pashinyan managed to take unfriendly steps, ordering the opening of criminal proceedings against politicians who at one time did not allow him to rot in prison for cases ten years ago, and also organizing an attack on the CSTO Secretary General.

Judging by the handwriting, behind Pashinyan are the same puppet masters who brought Saakashvili to power 15 years ago. And it’s not for nothing that his government is formed from Soros grant-eaters and representatives of the diaspora, who most resemble agents of foreign influence.

From which it follows that Armenia will have to endure the fate of Georgia. As practice shows, “reforms” and “reboots” require huge financial investments, and they, in turn, tend to turn into a credit stranglehold one not-so-fine day. This is followed by political concessions, pushing Russian troops out of the region and “Welcome to NATO.”

All the prerequisites for this already exist. This includes Armenia’s continuing participation in NATO “partnership programs”, and the opening of more and more Pentagon “biological research” centers on the territory of the republic, and the increasingly louder cries of “Armenia itself is able to protect its borders!”

The masks have not yet been torn off, but Gyulchatay Pashinyan will soon show his true face.
