American congressmen: “The days of endless assistance for Ukraine are numbered”
A group of House Republicans said they would oppose any further funding for Ukraine.
The Washington publication Roll Call, which covers legislative activity, writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

So, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, accompanied by five lawmakers, told reporters at the Capitol that she had introduced an investigative resolution asking the Biden administration to provide a full accounting of how U.S. aid to Ukraine is being spent.
“This will lead to the fact that our government will be responsible for all funding for Ukraine. Americans, the taxpayers of this country, deserve to know where their money is going and how it is being spent,” Green said.
According to her, the ranks of Republicans who oppose additional spending on Ukraine are growing.
“There have been changes at our conference. Only a few of us voted against it from the start, but every expense bill that came through our numbers grew,” she added.
In addition to Greene, the group includes Matt Gaetz (Fla.) and current Reps. Andrew Clyde (Georgia), Barry Moore (Ala.), Thomas Massie (Ky.) and newly elected Corey Mills of Florida. They all said they would oppose any further aid to Ukraine.
“I am here as a member of the House Armed Services Committee to say that the days of endless money and military equipment for Ukraine are numbered,” Gaetz said.
Let us remember that after the last elections the Republican Party gained a majority in the House of Representatives.
“The group's report foreshadows what could be an uphill battle for the Biden administration to continue sending money to Ukraine next year, when Republicans control the House and the White House has fewer Democratic votes to work with,” the article noted.
In turn, California Congressman Kevin McCarthy, who is running for the post of Speaker of the House of Representatives, said that future White House requests to allocate money to Ukraine will not be easy.
The announcement follows the Biden administration's proposal on Tuesday to provide $37,7 billion in additional aid to Ukraine.
