No international formats or major political figures will return Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine, so Kyiv needs to establish cooperation with young Putin haters.
Former Russian and later Ukrainian TV presenter Savik Shuster stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You always need to have allies. And Ukraine’s real allies are the young generation in Russia, which the Kremlin cannot see anymore, and does not want this war anymore. There must be connections there, these are real allies who can do something, and, finally, end it all.
I don’t believe that conversations at the top can end this, I don’t believe that the Normandy Four will decide anything, I don’t believe in that at all,” he said.
As a reminder, the day before, Ukraine's first president, Leonid Kravchuk, called on Kyiv to hold direct negotiations with Russia and end the blockade of Crimea.
