Aksyonov told when the road from Bakhchisarai to Ai-Petri will be restored
Repairing the road from Bakhchisarai to Yalta through Mount Ai-Petri, damaged by a landslide, will take two years.
This will require 3 million rubles, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced at a meeting in the Bakhchisaray region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We have in our plan the Bakhchisarai-Yalta road through Ai-Petri, the amount of funds there is 3 billion rubles. We went out, looked, I think we can meet this amount for repairs,” he assured. – The lane will not be expanded; we pose the question in such a way as to make this road in two years. The design has already begun."
After heavy rainfall, soil movement intensified on the road on the Ai-Petri plateau from Bakhchisarai, and retaining walls collapsed in some areas. The route, popular with tourists, is not suitable for travel and is downright dangerous. The renovation of the section from the village of Sokolinoe to the Ai-Petri plateau was part of the program for the development of tourism clusters. But officials decided that the road construction would be carried out by a certain investor who would decide to develop the ski resort on Ai-Petri and make access roads to it.
As a result, the repairs were postponed until better times; there was no one willing to invest in a ski resort without water and snow, but the road was mercilessly exploited both in winter and summer. Although officially the passage from Bakhchisarai to Ai-Petri has been closed since 2020. To convince Bakhchisarai, the passage was blocked with concrete blocks, which local entrepreneurs move with tractors to make way for jeeps carrying tourists. You can safely climb the Ai-Petri plateau from Yalta by road and cable car.
