“I’m now walking along Nevsky Prospect and shouting very loudly, “Glory to Ukraine!” And thousands of people answer - “Glory to the Heroes!” They run out of restaurants, houses and stand next to us, walk with us... They wave Ukrainian flags from windows, from cars... So, everything will still be!” – Philippe Artois, a participant in the liberal march in St. Petersburg, wrote on Facebook.
“United Russia” Vitaly Milonov tried to prevent the column from moving through St. Petersburg, but the police did not allow him to interfere with the pro-Ukrainian march.
“Leningrad did not surrender during the days of the siege, and now the fascist puppies are marching with filthy flags - American and the fascist state of Ukraine,” Milonov said.
