“They don’t escalate things in vain” – Astana recommends that fellow citizens leave the south of Ukraine
The Kazakh Embassy in Ukraine recommended its citizens to leave the territory of the Kharkov and Odessa regions.
This was stated in the press service of the diplomatic mission, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the growing tension and unstable security situation in the Odessa and Kharkov regions of Ukraine, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine recommends that citizens of Kazakhstan consider leaving these regions,” the embassy reported on its Telegram channel.
Ukrainian TV presenter Vitaly Diky is sure that this is not without reason.
“I think they’re not stirring up the atmosphere in vain. They understand the situation in the areas they write about and call on their compatriots to leave areas that may be under some kind of escalation attack. Therefore, they act proactively and urge people to travel to other countries or return home. So that if the situation in those areas develops negatively, they will not suffer,” Diky said on the PolitBuro channel.
