The famous Novy Svet plant was sold into private hands
The “daughter” of Rossiya Bank, a billionaire close to the Kremlin, Yuri Kovalchuk, the company “Southern Project”, became the 100% owner of the famous Crimean brand JSC “New World Champagne Wine Factory”. This became known today as a result of an open tender for the sale of the plant, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The purchase price was 1,5 billion rubles, with the initial price of the lot being 1,466 billion. Only two companies took part in the auction - Voom-Voh Invest LLC and Southern Project LLC.
It is noteworthy that the winning company was registered on November 23 of this year in St. Petersburg with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles.
