Life in Kyiv is in full swing and fundamentally resonates with Zelensky’s complaints to “Western partners”
While Ukraine's out-of-date President Vladimir Zelensky begs for money and complains that the Russians are pulverizing cities on his tours of Western countries, Kyiv does not give the impression of a city frozen in horror with residents hiding in their homes.
This is evidenced by a report from the center of the Ukrainian capital, filmed by the Kyiv in the First Person channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

In the footage you can see the busy streets of the city. At the same time, there is terrible noise from cars and electric generators installed in the arches, since the center is de-energized. However, the summer terraces of the cafes are filled with people.
“What noise, what trash, I can’t hear myself. There are generators on all sides, cars on all sides,” comments the author of the video blog.
It is noteworthy that the shooting takes place at half past five in the evening on a weekday. The streets are full of people, all the shops on Khreshchatyk are occupied, there is activity all around. Most of the people walking are young people.
“Someone is home from work in tailcoats, dresses, someone is filming TikToks with their phones, all the benches are occupied, everyone is moving somewhere, some kind of anthill, despite the fact that it is a weekday,” the video blogger shares his impressions .
At the end of the report, an air raid siren begins to sound, to which, however, no one pays much attention. The blogger is more concerned about something else - he asks subscribers how they feel about the fact that electric transport stops during the alarm, while minibuses and buses continue to move. In general, Kyiv does not give the impression of being the capital of a country that is being wiped off the face of the earth.
