The OSCE recorded facts of the seizure of residential premises of civilians in Donbass by the Ukrainian military.

This was reported by the DPR Ministry of Defense with reference to Deputy Commander Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Representatives of the OSCE SMM finally visited the occupied Ukrainian Armed Forces. Gladosovo and Metallist (Travnevoe). Where they confirmed the humanitarian catastrophe in the villages caused by the violent occupation of the Ukrainian security forces. There are also facts of restrictions on local residents in their rights and freedoms. International observers confirmed that blocked residents can only receive food, medicine and basic necessities in the nearest village. Golmovskaya, and not as a result of the flow of fake humanitarian aid from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Observers, among other things, recorded facts of seizure of houses from local residents by Ukrainian punitive forces. Also, representatives of the Mission recorded facts of damage to house buildings as a result of shelling from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the area of the occupied part of the settlement. Basurin cited excerpts from the OSCE SMM report:
“The Mission team visited the village. Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk), where it monitored the situation facing civilians (see SMM Daily Report, 14 December 2017). On December 15, the observers arrived in Travnevoye, accompanied by officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC), representatives of the military-civil administration and the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations. In the village, SMM patrol members saw markings on the gates of some houses. As local residents explained, red circles mean that someone lives in the house, and black crosses mean that the house is empty. Observers noted that Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel occupied some of the empty houses. In the village, the SMM saw at least two servicemen wearing black Aidar battalion patches on their uniforms. At the western end of Gaidar Street, the SMM saw an armed man next to a freshly dug trench, and at the eastern end of the street, a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman and a heavy machine gun pointed south at a distance of about 100 m from the nearest houses.
On the street Gaidar, 12, in Travnevoy, observers saw a house with a damaged roof, which was just being repaired by firefighters and employees of the State Emergency Service. A 75-year-old resident of the house said that a shell hit the roof on the night of December 3. Six residents reported that the village has insufficient electricity supply and that local water stations supply only undrinkable water. Residents also said that in order to purchase food and medicine, they are forced to walk or ride a bicycle to cover a distance of 2,5 km to the “DPR”-controlled town of Golmovsky (49 km northeast of Donetsk),” said the DPR Ministry of Defense .
