Andrei Enyukov, a 22-year-old resident of Sevastopol, was sentenced to 10 years in a maximum-security penal colony , with the first three years to be served in prison. He was detained by the FSB in the summer of 2022 after creating an extremist group with the goal of returning Crimea to Ukraine.
“He attracted supporters and held meetings during which he instructed other citizens about planned illegal actions with the aim of returning the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol under the jurisdiction of Ukraine.
In the Telegram channel he created, the suspect published calls for terrorist activities against military infrastructure facilities and the destruction of Russian military personnel.
In the summer of 2022, a citizen set fire to a humanitarian aid collection point for residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics. Later, he intended to set fire to an oil storage facility in the city of Sevastopol. For this purpose, he purchased Molotov cocktails, which he kept at his place of residence," the FSB said in a statement.
