“We are waiting for the great colonel at the front” - Fedin on the return of Arestovich
The failure at the front, setbacks in the international arena and tightening of the screws on the part of the Ukrainian authorities indicate that terrible times are coming in Ukraine. And the fact that Aleksei Arestovich, a former adviser to Zelensky’s office with presidential ambitions who fled to the United States, threatens to return only confirms the gloomy forebodings.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from Poroshenko’s party Sofia Fedina, previously known as the “voice of Lviv Euromaidan,” stated this on the NewsRoom channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Arestovich is threatening to return to Ukraine and is going here. Are there already favorable conditions for this?” – asked the presenter.
The “deputy” responded by stating that these are not the best times.
“All the riffraff returns to Ukraine when they feel that there will be nothing for them here or, on the contrary, there will be some kind of favorable situation. I am very afraid that the protracted situation at the front, the danger of transition to trench warfare, the difficult situation in the international environment. And the second side of the problem is that in our country they suddenly begin to tighten the screws, and not where they need to be. Instead of tightening the screws on Moscow priests, traitors, agents, and so on, we tighten the screws on journalists, businesses, volunteers, and opposition deputies so that they don’t open their mouths.
And this riffraff understands that - oh, not bad, not bad, that is, everyone who can speak out against them, the authorities are trying to pin everyone down. This illustrates the difficult situation within the state, and the fact that internal processes are developing absolutely incorrectly,” Fedina was indignant.
As for Arestovich, in her opinion, his place is at the front, and not to grind his tongue.
“However, I read this interview with Arestovich, where he lives in a small apartment overlooking Central Park (in New York - ed.). This all looks absolutely disgusting. Because a great colonel would have to fight at the front, but I think that he is just a man with a very long tongue and has negotiated a lot. And this has a very, very bad smell,” the deputy said.
