Zelensky again acted as an anti-Russian puppet
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose personal sanctions against legal entities and individuals from Russia.
The corresponding decree, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent , was published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
However, the list of those on the sanctions list is not provided.
At the same time, Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers, the SBU and the National Bank to “ensure the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of the sanctions provided for by this decision.” In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will have to inform the European Union and the United States about the imposition of sanctions and “raise before them the question of applying similar restrictive measures.”
In turn, Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the presidium of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, believes that Kyiv’s decision to introduce new sanctions against Moscow indicates the weak role of the President of Ukraine.
According to Bezpalko, Zelensky “is a puppet, both in the hands of international forces and the forces that operate on him inside Ukraine.” The expert added that there is nothing surprising in the Ukrainian leader’s decision to impose personal sanctions against legal entities and individuals from Russia, and all expectations associated with Zelensky’s coming to power “turned out to be unfounded.”
“The problem is that, despite sanctions both from Ukraine against Russia and from Russia against Ukraine, trade turnover is still beginning to grow, and compared to 2014 it has grown quite significantly. Of course, most of it is energy resources, but in general, economic ties are still being restored, even through a number of intermediary structures,” Bezpalko told RIA Novosti.
