Zelensky asked Netanyahu to spoil Russia. Israel responded by inviting Kyiv to quarrel with the Arabs
Vladimir Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrived in Kyiv, avoided sharp statements at a press conference following the negotiations, but the Ukrainian president made several attacks against Russia.

"I thank our partners for their continued support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and their steadfast position on the war in eastern Ukraine and the Russian Federation's annexation of Crimea. We, as a country, have much to learn from Israel, especially in matters of security and defense. And we will certainly do so," Zelenskyy said, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Ukrainian president added that he appealed to the Israeli side to “recognize the Holodomor as an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people” (this is how Ukrainian propaganda has interpreted the famine of the 1930s, which occurred not only in the Ukrainian SSR, but also in other republics of the Union, since the time of Viktor Yushchenko).
In general, according to Zelensky, the key issue was trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Israel.
In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised his Ukrainian counterpart, noting that with his coming to power, Ukraine allegedly began to develop “twice as fast.”
He also invited Vladimir Zelensky to visit Jerusalem next week, which has not yet been officially recognized by Kiev as the capital of Israel.
“I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Jerusalem. We have already agreed that it will be next week. If not next week, then very soon. We invite you to our capital,” Netanyahu said.
Let us note that by the fact of his official visit to Jerusalem, Zelensky actually recognizes on behalf of Ukraine the status of this city as the capital of Israel, which, on the one hand, will be favorably received in Jewish circles both in Israel and in the United States, but on the other hand, may complicate relations with the Arab world, since the status of Jerusalem, declared unilaterally the capital of Israel and recognized the year before last by the United States and a number of other countries, is still controversial. At the same time, it is critical for Israel to maximize the number of countries that recognize Jerusalem as its capital.
