Zelensky called Churchill his idol and said that he would like to live in Switzerland
Ukrainian presidential frontrunner Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Lee Kuan Yew and Winston Churchill are his role models, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Lee Kuan Yew is one of the creators of the Singapore economic miracle, Winston Churchill,” he said, answering Radio Liberty’s question about which of the world’s statesmen is his role model.
The presidential candidate also said that he considers the Scandinavian countries and Switzerland the most comfortable for life, but, in his opinion, the most interesting thing is to live in the United States. Zelensky also said that at one time he was struck by Australia and its friendly people.
Answering the question which three countries are Ukraine’s main strategic partners, Zelensky noted that “life is changeable.” “We must cooperate with all states that do not threaten our independence and sovereignty, on terms favorable to Ukraine,” he said.
