Zelensky goes to the “Normandy summit” for a new portion of photojabs
The starting positions of the Ukrainian side, with which it is going to the Normandy Four summit on December 9, do not allow us to hope for a positive result of the meeting.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on TV channel 112, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The expert recalled the recent interview of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with foreign media, in which he said that he did not agree with the sequence of actions in Donbass, when elections should first take place, and after that Ukraine would gain control of the border with Russia.
According to Pogrebinsky, with such a position Zelensky will only be able to take a photo with the rest of the Normandy Four members, but will not achieve results.
“Zelensky is going in order to go, in order to find himself in the circle of serious politicians, to shine in this circle and thus increase his status as a participant in high-level negotiations...
If you are coming to say that we insist on getting the border first and then holding elections, then it is clear that you will not agree on anything at all.
All this is a prank of a certain scenario, the meaning of which is obviously clear,” Pogrebinsky concluded.
