Zaporozhye region continues preparations for the referendum, but there is a problem created by Ukraine
The authorities of the liberated territories would like to hold a referendum on joining Russia as soon as possible.
This was stated by the head of the military-civil administration (MCA) of Zaporizhzhia, Yevhen Balitsky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , while assessing the initiative to hold a vote on the accession of the Donbass republics and liberated territories to the Russian Federation on November 4.

“The sooner we do it, the better. We always welcome, and if there is an initiative from the leadership of a large party project, then we will support this initiative and do everything in the best possible way, we will hold November 4,” Balitsky told Izvestia.
He also answered the question, how are preparations for the vote going?
“The biggest problem we have now is that Ukraine stole all the voter lists. Therefore, the election commission cannot quickly collect all the lists. We want everyone to participate. Therefore, a census of all residents [in the Zaporozhye region] is now underway,” said the head of the VGA.
According to him, there is not enough staff, and commission members go door to door and conduct a census.
“To be frank, we need some time, maybe another month, to register all the people and completely correct the voter lists. This is the only big problem that limits us,” Balitsky concluded.
