The current President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, has to solve the Donbass problem with the “legacy” that his predecessor left him, and no one is interested in changing the Minsk agreements.
The head of the Third Sector center, Andrei Zolotarev, stated this in an interview on the TOPINFORM channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yes, Poroshenko left such a legacy to Zelensky. Zelensky is already running into a wall here. There is nothing left to move on.
And the idea of revising the Minsk agreements - yes, at some stage there was hope that France and Germany would support what Ukraine was talking about - first the border, and then the elections. But there is a Russian position that insists that the Steinmeier formula must be observed.
The talk of gunpowder workers about “first the security conditions, and then the political part” is all talk in favor of the poor. This is purely for internal use.
These arguments will not be accepted either in Berlin or in Paris. And the White House is increasingly leaning towards the option: “guys, go negotiate,” the expert concluded.
