The deputy commander of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported to his superiors about the alleged neutralization of the DPR military ambush.
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that on the eve of the next round of negotiations in Minsk, the Ukrainian command is seeking to shift the blame for the ongoing civil war to the DPR.
“Propagandists from the so-called press center of the headquarters of the occupation forces today published another low-grade fake that soldiers from the 128th mountain assault brigade allegedly neutralized an enemy ambush in the Dokuchaevsky direction. At the same time, the Fagot anti-tank missile system, the RPG-18 anti-tank grenade and the NSV Utes machine gun were presented as evidence - weapons that are abundant in the Ukrainian army. A very low-quality fake, designed for an audience intoxicated by Kyiv propaganda,” noted Bezsonov.
He also said that the commander of the 128th brigade, Sobko, while his subordinates were serving their due dates in the cold trenches, went on vacation to visit his family. Lieutenant Colonel Hoga, who remained to perform his duties, decided to “sit in” for his commander and earn a medal while such an opportunity presented itself.
"On Hogi's orders, photographs of the supposedly captured trophies were taken, and a report about the 'courageous neutralization of an enemy ambush' was sent to the occupation forces' headquarters. Nayev believed this falsehood and ordered that an award and cash bonus be issued to the acting commander of the 128th Brigade," the defense ministry representative added.
