“Fun, or what?” Minsk taxi drivers refuse to carry Russian journalists
In Minsk, taxi drivers refuse to carry passengers who do not support local Maidan activists.
A special correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda writes about this in a report from the Belarusian capital, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He notes that in Belarus unprecedented pressure is being put on everyone who opposes the current opposition with “white-red-white” flags. The protests have become so radicalized that Maidan activists are threatening those who openly express a point of view different from them, not to mention those who support the current President Alexander Lukashenko.
“I already had to experience this division in Minsk on my own skin. At first, the complacent taxi driver enthusiastically told how the people of Belarus unanimously rebelled against the president and were indignant at the cruelty of the “cops,” until the car caught up with the guys wrapped in white and red flags. The taxi driver pressed the horn, opened the window on my side and asked me to greet those walking, so that I would stick out my hand and show the Victoria with my fingers. I refused.
- Fun, or what? – he grinned. (“Zabatki” here refers to supporters of the current president). I wanted to answer that as a journalist I must maintain neutrality, but I didn’t have time. The driver stopped: “I won’t go any further,” the journalist writes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Minsk Maidan protesters attacked Russian journalists.
