“It is highly likely that representatives of the ultra-radical forces that exist in Turkey are behind this attack. They may be connected to terrorist organizations in Syria. We cannot discount the version that this was done by a loner, motivated by a perverted value system,” Pushkov said.
He blamed the terrorist attack on the media, which launched an anti-Russian campaign in connection with the events in Aleppo.
“This terrorist attack reflects the tense situation in Turkey and the tense public atmosphere. This is a consequence of the negative campaign waged by the media in the West and the Middle East against Russia’s actions in Syria, and the hysteria surrounding the events in Aleppo.
