Over two years, eight times more Ukrainians died in road accidents than in the ATO
Over the past two years, more than 5,5 thousand people have died in road accidents in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Such data is provided on the Facebook page of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Over the past two years alone, more than 5,5 thousand people have died in road accidents. More than 57 thousand were injured,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in January-September 2017, 117 thousand road accidents occurred in Ukraine in which 2317 people died.
At the same time, according to official statistics, in 2016, 763 Ukrainian military personnel were killed in the combat zone in Donbass using modern weapons.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, proposed increasing fines for speeding sevenfold.
