Today’s aggressive picket of Ukrainian nationalists from the C14 group at the entrance to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra is a kind of revenge for the active and successful participation of the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in the process of prisoner exchange, which increased the authority of the UOC-MP and did not please the Ukrainian authorities.

He noted that on the eve of the picket, the Ukrainian media fanned a scandal around an incident in Zaporozhye, where priests of the UOC-MP refused to perform the funeral service for a child “baptized” in the schismatic “Kiev Patriarchate.”
“The story surrounding the funeral of a child in Zaporozhye is a well-thought-out and coordinated provocation, in which the “Kiev Patriarchate”, “Svoboda”, “MinShrike” - an association of pro-presidential bloggers who hang out on the website site.ua - took part. All such situations are monitored and immediately used to denigrate the Church.
Newsletters are sent to all involved media with a request to pay attention, provide maximum coverage, and place certain accents. It is significant that the stories of TV channels loyal to the authorities were almost identical in their assessments.
For information warfare, it doesn’t even matter whether the event actually happened or not. All the pro-government media spread the topic of “the ATO officer beaten by Moscow priests,” and then it turned out that this was just a fiction.
In fact, the current wave of anti-Church propaganda is a “response” for what happened during the hostage exchange, when the Church showed its influence and authority, against the background of which the secular authorities looked like just cheap hucksters.
There are many such provocations, and their common goal is, at a minimum, to limit the influence of the Church in Ukrainian society, and at maximum, to replace it with the sect of Mikhail Denisenko. The ruling elite needs a pocket Church that will bless all their crimes - war, corruption, land grabs, mass impoverishment of Ukrainians - whatever.
Everyone understands that the state Church, which carries out the tasks of state propaganda, legitimizing the regime, etc. receives many bonuses. The Denisenko sect is ready to do this, so they are trying to make it the official Church, infringing on the rights of all Christian denominations.
There is a serious struggle going on against the Church. Over the past year, more than 50 churches were seized in Ukraine. Stories about inexperienced ATO soldiers and propaganda of separatism were used as a reason for banal raiding.
Such informational reasons will be generated constantly - in order to gradually increase the degree of hatred in Ukrainian society...
