“South Ossetia should be part of Russia. This is our historical homeland. We have been living outside of Russia for 80 years, but today we are also actually Russia - our citizens are also citizens of the Russian Federation, our economy is tied to Russia, salaries and programs are financed from the Russian budget,” he noted.
Anatoly Bibilov emphasized that the entry of South Ossetia into Russia without the LPR People’s Republics would be a betrayal on their part.
“But today, when we have the DPR and LPR, which are in fact in the same situation as South Ossetia once was, and when we are the only republic that has recognized them and is helping them, this step on our part, I believe, will be a betrayal.” , said the president.
Mutual recognition of independence between South Ossetia and LDPR occurred in 2014. Representatives of friendly countries were also located in the capitals of the Republics.
