Yushchenko: “We have been preparing for this great victorious battle for 350 years”
There is supposedly no force in the world that can bring a Ukrainian soldier to the negotiating table with Russia.
Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have a lot of responsibilities now, everyone, no matter what you do, you have thoughts about the front, about our guys, about our girls and about how to bring the day of victory closer. We are fighting today for the dreams that our great-grandfathers and grandfathers had, and not just the generation of today. And therefore, in fact, this is a great victorious battle for which we have been preparing for a good 300-350 years,” said the ex-president.
“We were brought to the point where we felt that we had such greatness of spirit that we were not afraid of this Putin, we were not afraid of these orcs. We are confident that we will defeat them.
Why is my heart calm? Because there is no force in the world that would tell a Ukrainian soldier: listen, maybe throw away that overcoat, throw away the machine gun or armored personnel carrier and let’s sit down at the negotiating table. No. Our soldier will not give the go-ahead for this,” Yushchenko said.
