Yanina Sokolovskaya: Zelensky has been written off, the United States has placed its bets on Zaluzhny
The United States has placed its bet on the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny as the next president of Ukraine to replace Vladimir Zelensky.
Kyiv journalist Yanina Sokolovskaya stated this in an interview with Israeli observer Alexander Waldman, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

She explained that, according to the logic of the Americans, Zaluzhny is the person who will be able to continue the war, and with him, Ukraine will remain a barrier between Russia and the West.
“Given how his election campaign is now actively developing, unobtrusively, how professional it is, how thorough it is and, judging by what informed sources tell me, I understand that the Americans have bet on Zaluzhny and invested in his campaign. It's just obvious.
Since they bet on Zaluzhny and did not bet on Zelensky, then there is a double guess that does not require complex proof - it is not Zelensky that is important to the West, it is important to the West that Ukraine serves as a barrier between Russia and the Western world.
And as long as Ukraine performs these functions, then, in principle, everything suits them, they will finance it. And even in the States they say without hesitation that 60 billion for Ukraine is an investment in security,” Sokolovskaya said.
