This was stated by the general director of the company in the Russian Federation, Alexander Shulgin, in an interview with the Russian NTV channel.

“The Ukrainian state has adopted a number of sanctions against a number of Russian IT companies that make our activities in the country impossible. This is primarily harmful for Ukrainian society and the Ukrainian state. Most likely, our economic involvement in business in Ukraine will be reduced or eliminated,” he said.

Earlier, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasily Gritsak, after searches in Yandex offices in Kyiv and Odessa, stated that the special services allegedly “found a lot of interesting things” related to the Russian Federation. “I have no right to make the data public. But we found a lot of interesting things there, and believe me, this interesting thing is connected with Russia,” the SBU chief said then.
