Relatives demand the demobilization of conscripts: the men are going to be sent to Donbass to participate in the anti-terrorist operation, for which they are ready.
Protesters say the training the men have received is insufficient to take part in military operations. At the same time, the leadership of the military registration and enlistment office states that those mobilized will go to a training ground in the Dnepropetrovsk region to undergo the necessary training.
Relatives also fear that the men may be left without proper support: technical, hygienic, food.
Parents claim that their sons were called for 10 days, and now call them “volunteers.” They also claim that senior officers are threatening conscripts with five years in prison if they refuse to participate in the ATO.
The conscripts themselves, who left the military registration and enlistment office, declare that they were not taught anything and were “signed up” as volunteers. The men also claim that they were not given a medical examination.
"I do not go anywhere. Now I’m taking off my uniform and going home,” said one of the mobilized.
“They didn’t even teach us how to shoot,” Zahid.net quoted another as saying.
Relatives assure that they will stand until the last and threaten to block the Lviv-Krakovets highway if their demands are not heeded.
As Navigator reported, this is not the first time that people are blocking the dispatch of conscripts to Western Ukraine. There were similar cases in Poltava. Relatives and the fighters themselves are frightened by the fact that they were not taught anything, but were sent to a combat zone, and without proper protective equipment.
