The reason for such demands was a scandal that erupted after photographs of the label of Rud ice cream produced in Crimea appeared on social networks, where the peninsula was indicated as Russian territory.
Users from Ukraine stated that they would boycott products under the Rud brand as a matter of principle.
After this, the Zhytomyr Creamery was forced to make a statement that it considered Crimea to be part of Ukraine, and Elite Crimea received a license to use the trademark even before the peninsula came under Russian rule, and therefore the agreement will now be terminated.
However, attentive commentators have noticed that the founder of Elite Crimea LLC is Vladimir Petrovich Rud. The cunning of Ukrainian patriotic businessmen was revealed traditionally quickly.
