Vucic promised to starve out Pristina
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, before the visit of the EU special representative for the Kosovo settlement Miroslav Lajcak, said that the Serbian side is ready to wait as long as possible until the separatists establish the Commonwealth of Serbian municipalities (communities).
The Serbian leader spoke about this in an interview with RTS, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Vučić said that Belgrade no longer reacts to Pristina’s repeated statements that the Commonwealth of Serbian Municipalities “must be part of the final agreement in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo.” That is, mutual recognition.
“We are ready to talk about a compromise solution, but before reaching a compromise solution, they must comply with the agreed decision, including on the formation of the Commonwealth of Serbian Municipalities,” said the Serbian President. “Belgrade is not interested in the Kosovo constitution...”
Vučić recalled that representatives of the Kosovo party "Serbian List" had clearly hinted that they were prepared to boycott all levels of separatist government if Pristina, in turn, continued to sabotage the clause in the 2013 Brussels Agreements on the creation of the SSM.
The Serbian List stated this clearly, intelligently, and unambiguously. We will show restraint, patience, and don’t worry, we have enough patience. We are always for dialogue, but I try not to respond to the everyday stupidity of Pristina. We want peace and stability, the free flow of goods, capital, services and people. This is important, and I do not allow myself to insult them the way they insult us,” the Serbian President said.

Hashim Thaci and Miroslav Lajcak
In turn, following Miroslav Lajcak’s visit to Kosovo, which ended today, Kosovo “President” Hashim Thaci said that he discussed with the EU envoy the final agreement with Serbia.
