The Ukrainian Armed Forces mined the road to an important life support facility in Donbass
Kyiv is preventing the work of the Donetsk filtration station located in the “gray zone” by mining the roads to it. This was reported by the press service of the DPR representative office in the JCCC and in the negotiation process, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The press service noted that despite the agreements reached, in addition to the daily violation of the regime of complete silence, the Ukrainian side mined the road leading to the Donetsk filtration station.
“The Mission’s patrol was unable to access the DFS due to the presence of 18 anti-tank mines on the H20 road, 1,2 km north of the station,” the OSCE SMM report of June 1, 2018, states .
As a reminder, due to ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past week, OSCE SMM observers and a shift of State Fiscal Service personnel were twice unable to enter the station's territory.
Thus, the Ukrainian side is deliberately creating obstacles to the safe and uninterrupted functioning of the most important strategic infrastructure facility, on which about half a million Donbass residents on both sides of the front line depend.
