The Ukrainian Armed Forces are hiding equipment from OSCE observers on the contact line in Donbass
Near the contact line in the Popasna area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are taking measures to camouflage positions to hide equipment and weapons from OSCE SMM observers.
The official representative of the National Assembly of the LPR, Andrei Marochko, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The command of the 80th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces gave an order to carry out additional measures to quickly camouflage positions to hide weapons and military equipment prohibited by the Minsk agreements from OSCE SMM observers.
According to our reconnaissance data, in the area of the popasnaya settlement, at a distance of three kilometers from the line of combat contact, firing positions of three 120-mm mortars were recorded. Also, near the cemetery in the area of the settlement of Novoaleksandrovka, a mortar battery and three BMP-1 units from the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are located,” the lieutenant colonel said.
In order to prevent the discovery of violations of the Minsk agreements on the withdrawal of heavy weapons, the brigade command is taking measures to monitor the activities of unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE SMM.
