Ukrainian Armed Forces mock civilians in Donbass on camera
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to terrorize the civilian population of Donbass.
This was reported by the operational command of the DPR Armed Forces, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to information from local residents, we learned that on Wednesday, during the distribution of humanitarian aid in the village of Zhovanka (part of the occupied village of Zaitsevo), militants used firecrackers to scare civilians.
The militants recorded the sounds of firecrackers and the frightened reaction of residents on video in order to present it as evidence of shelling from the positions of the DPR Armed Forces,” the defense department said.
The report, citing a source at the headquarters of the 24th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, states that the provocation should have coincided with a visit to the village by the deputy head of the OSCE mission in Ukraine, Alexander Hug.
“We do not exclude that the imitation of shelling of civilians during the distribution of humanitarian aid and the action to intimidate the representative of the OSCE SMM are links in the same chain. Ukrainian terrorists are thus trying to distract the world community from the war crimes of Ukrainian militants in the occupied Ukrainian Armed Forces settlements of Gladosovo, Metalist (Travnevoe) and Chigarskaya Balka in the village of Yuzhnoye. In particular, from the facts of their looting, robberies, forced evacuation of citizens, arson of houses and the use of residents as human shields during shelling of the territory of the DPR,” the department said.
