According to DPR intelligence, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are bringing various artillery systems and ammunition to the sites of the supposed breakthrough.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin spoke about this today at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our reconnaissance has received information about the concentration of rocket, cannon and self-propelled artillery units in the north and southeast of the settlement of Velikaya Novoselovka. Equipment and weapons are concentrated in hangars for agricultural machinery and are camouflaged inside the farm buildings themselves. Currently, two divisions of each type of artillery are concentrated there. Rocket artillery battalions are armed with BM-21 "Grad" with a caliber of 122 mm - 18 units and 9K57 "Hurricane" with a caliber of 220 mm - 12 units, gun battalions - with 2A36 "Gyacinth-B" 152 mm - 18 units and D-30 122 mm - 18 units, self-propelled – 2S1 “Gvozdika” 122 mm – 18 units and 2S3 “Akatsia” 152 mm – 18 units,” said Eduard Basurin.
He stated that the command of the combined artillery group was entrusted to the commander of the 55th artillery brigade, Kachur.
In addition to artillery, artillery ammunition is also actively transported to the front line.
“Also, according to local residents, a railway train with ammunition arrived at the Zachatovka unloading station. The cargo consists of ammunition for artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems,” added Eduard Aleksandrovich.
