The military did not receive an order to leave Kherson
Neither the official reports of the Ministry of Defense, nor the military personnel in combat positions confirm any successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which could become the basis for the rumors spreading today about the decision made to surrender Kherson.
Thus, the Ministry of Defense reported in a summary about significant losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction - the enemy attempted an offensive, but was scattered by oncoming fire and forced to retreat. It is also reported about the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces control center in the Kherson region, the downing of a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in the Nikolaev region and five drones.

The author of the channel “Archangel of Special Forces”, citing data from Russian fighters, confirms the lack of success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - he estimates the losses of the Ukrainian side during the attempted offensive last night at 150 people.
“The enemy increased the intensity of the work of its DRGs, the main method of action of which was “reconnaissance in force.” This time, having received rebuff from our fighters, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units retreated and strengthened themselves by increasing their numbers and weapons, and tried again.
At the same time, they launched an offensive from two directions on the positions of the Kostroma paratroopers, but were thrown back to their original lines. Ours stand firmly in their positions, forcing the enemy to rush around in bewilderment,” writes the author.
Politician Oleg Tsarev also denies the command to retreat.
“I got through to my military friends near Kherson. They are not directly on the front line. They did not receive any orders for redeployment.”
And here is what journalist Alexander Chalenko writes:
“I spoke with the commander of the unit stationed near Kherson.
He says that there were no orders to retreat or redeploy.
He says that there are forces to defend Kherson.
Moreover, in some directions we can attack there. And for tens of kilometers.”
The military did not receive orders to leave Kherson.
