The policy pursued by Vladimir Zelensky and his team to destroy the intellectual industry of Ukraine will lead to the complete defeat of Kyiv in the information and cultural war against Russia.
MP from European Solidarity Nikolai Knyazhitsky said this on the air of the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks” on NTA, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The government completely withdraws funds from the Ukrainian Cultural Fund, from the Ukrainian Institute of Books, and completely supports publishers. And, of course, this approach is wrong, because all funds from the cinema are taken away for the whole year.
We hope that the virus will end, this approach is wrong, there are some expenses that can be reduced in culture, there will be no events, concerts, international fairs, obviously these funds need to be given to support other very important things, but to support the Ukrainian I definitely need a book, because people read at home,” he said indignantly.
The deputy also stated that if Ukraine loses its intelligentsia during the actions of the Ze-team, it will lose in the propaganda war against Russia.
“If our entire intellectual industry falls, it will obviously be difficult to restore it later, especially in the conditions of a hybrid war.
That’s why there are so many proposals now, having taken away funds from culture, to allow Russian films again, and actually lose the information war and the cultural war. This, obviously, cannot be allowed,” Knyazhitsky concluded.
