According to him, this will help Ukrainians forget the Soviet interpretation of history, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I really hope that we will no longer eat this Soviet history, but the one we write ourselves. We are writing it now after the fact. Donetsk airport will now be studied in textbooks. And all these events that happened to us. These poor kids will have to memorize those facts, but now we are writing these dates with our own hands,” Kanter said.

Instead of "Soviet" dates , Ukrainian children will learn about the "exploits" of the punitive forces in Donbas.
