Lvov authorities have announced a tender for the demolition of the monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War
The Halytskyi District Administration of Lviv has announced a tender for services to dismantle the structures of the Monument to Military Glory, dedicated to Soviet soldiers who defeated Nazism. The relevant information has been published on the government procurement portal, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the terms of the tender, we are talking about dismantling the sculpture of the Mother Motherland and a soldier. The monument itself is located on Stryiska Street in Lviv. 131 thousand hryvnia will be allocated from the city budget for this, and another hundred thousand will be spent on demolishing the bas-reliefs. The Galician regional administration will consider accepting proposals until 10 am on May 25th.

City officials have reached the stele depicting scenes from the Civil War, Lviv's annexation to the Ukrainian SSR in 1939, and the Great Patriotic War. Work has also been carried out on the site to remove a 30-meter stele that is part of the monument.
