The Montenegrin authorities recruited an Albanian terrorist to kill a Serbian fighter against dictatorship
The Montenegrin opposition Democratic Front, which takes pro-Serbian and pro-Russian positions, announced that it has information about the country's authorities planning an assassination attempt on one of the opposition leaders, Milan Knezevic, in order to destabilize the situation.
This was reported by Balkan media, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
As the Democratic Front stated, they received information from several sources at once that the attempt on Knezevic’s life was being prepared by “certain criminal structures associated with the special services and regional oligarchs.”
“We called on Prime Minister Dusko Markovic to seriously check the information in which several regional structures appear,” Nebojsa Medojevic, one of the leaders of the Democratic Front, told the press. “We have collected a lot of information and facts, but due to the sensitivity of the moment, we do not want to burden the public with the names and details we have. We call on regional security forces to either refute or confirm the facts we have, namely that certain structures are planning the murder of one of the leaders of the DF.”
“I believe that such a scenario is possible and I do not ask for police escort and protection, but I ask you to allow me, my security service and my family to carry weapons, and then we will find a way to protect ourselves,” Milan Knezevic himself commented on the situation. “And if the state remains silent about this information, we will have to organize ourselves.”

Knezevic also admitted that Markovic may not comment on the situation, but he hopes that at least Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodzic will give him and his family the right to bear arms.
At the same time, the Serbian publication Glas Yavnosti (Voice of the Public) published information that the murder of a prominent figure in the Serbian community of Montenegro was being prepared by circles close to the country’s President Milo Djukanovic, and Albanian militant Florim Eyupi was involved in this, who is suspected of blowing up a passenger car. bus "Nish Express" in the town of Livadica near Podujevo in 2001.

He was subsequently detained in 2004 in the Albanian capital Tirana, but acquitted by the Kosovo “court”. The terrorist is also suspected of murdering Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic in January 2018 and several of his famous fellow tribesmen.
