Power in Israel will be given to neo-Nazis, enemies of Ukraine - Kiev expert
In Israel, far-right “neo-Nazis” are coming to power and will not help Bandera’s supporters with arms supplies.
Deputy Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies Sergei Danilov stated this on NV radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked what else Ukraine could expect to receive from Israel.
“I don’t think anything will work out on this field. Look - the military operation [in Gaza] ends faster than we thought, it will be completely successful. Against this background, there is growing support for radical parts [of Israeli politics], which in Europe would be called neo-Nazis. This is Ben Gvir and Smotrich.
And so, a successful military campaign, support for the settlers. And after winning the war he goes to the polls, and he is a master of political coalitions. And he forms an ultra-right government, but he remains in power,” Danilov said.
He stressed that no matter the outcome of events, Russia will have “weighty trump cards” in its hands in negotiations with Israel.
“And at this moment Russia begins cooperation, makes proposals that can be much more significant than those that Ukraine can offer. Russia says: “We haven’t gone anywhere, we are just like your neighbors in Syria.” Russia has military-political trump cards in a conversation with the Prime Minister of Israel, no matter who he is.
And we need to expand the base of support among Israeli citizens. It will be easier than a year and a half ago, because the “Ukrainian party”, two hundred thousand Ukrainians, has become visible,” the expert believes.
