President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko arrived in Minsk to participate in negotiations in the Normandy format. His plane landed at Minsk National Airport, writes BELTA.
In turn, TV channel “112” reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin is allegedly also already in Minsk, but will arrive for the meeting either after German Chancellor Angela Merkel, or with her.
Petro Poroshenko has already arrived at the Palace of Independence, where negotiations are to take place, and met with President Alexander Lukashenko.
At the same time, an unprecedented number of journalists is noted: about five hundred media representatives intend to cover this event.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Minsk the presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin, Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, France Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel intend to discuss proposals for a plan to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Experts are not particularly optimistic about the results of the meeting, but note that if there are no agreements, there will be an escalation of the conflict.
