Intelligence veteran claims that Ukraine has exhausted its mobilization resource
Ukraine does not have enough of its own citizens to participate in hostilities, and therefore has to use foreigners.
This was stated by the former head of intelligence of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, retired Colonel Rustem Klupov, in response to the question of why mercenaries are increasingly appearing in combat operations on the Ukrainian side, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This only means that there are not enough Ukrainians. Ukraine's mobilization resource has been exhausted. This is confirmed not only by the large number of mercenaries (primarily Poles, although there are also Romanians, Germans, Americans, and British), but also by the fact that increasingly mature and even elderly people are being captured,” the expert said "Moskovsky Komsomolets"
According to him, not only a mobilization reserve, but a military-technical one.
“Ukraine is now using foreign equipment and foreign weapons. This means that we shoveled, and they used up all their Warsaw Pact reserves,” says Klupov.
It is worth noting here that previously both Russian experts and official sources claimed that air defense in Ukraine was suppressed, almost all aviation was destroyed, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered huge losses, foreign mercenaries en masse refused to fight, and so on. However, at the moment, the initiative on the fronts of the Northern Military District is held by the Ukrainian side, while the Russian army has gone on the defensive in most directions.
