The scandalous law “on the de-occupation of Donbass,” adopted yesterday by the Verkhovna Rada, could lead to large-scale provocations on the front line, when “hot heads,” inspired by the fact that Russia is recognized as an “occupier,” may escalate matters.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky announced this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the offensive in Donbass for the Ukrainian army is now fraught with thousands of losses.

“There are “hot heads” who have already received the go-ahead from the Verkhovna Rada that there is occupation, there is an enemy, and we must fight this enemy. Well, what is it? I think that the likelihood of large-scale provocations, which could lead to serious military action, is increasing sharply. This is a state in which we, Ukrainian society, will constantly live, under the threat that tomorrow a serious collision may occur not with two or three human losses, but with hundreds and thousands of losses,” Pogrebinsky said.
